Well today they were having some samples, and I tried the Evan Williams Original Southern Eggnog. Wow, this nog was super tasty. Made with Kentucky straight bourbon, blended whiskey, rum and brandy. I usually nog my eggnog with just one of those! The only weird thing about this bottle, other than the aforementioned alcohols, there is NO ingredient list. Well, at least it tastes good. Haven't tried the CdM yet, but I'm sure it will work fine in my hot chocolate. Oh, one other thing. Finally joined the Spec's free Key Club. Being a member can save you quite a bit on your purchases. Everything is old and dusty... some of the liquor has begun to discolor, the selection basically sucks, etc. ... I really think this guy makes all his money off of people who get kicked out of the store down the road after overzealous its clerks run out in the parking lot to bang on your car windows and harass your underage DD. You wouldn't believe how far a hundred bucks DOESN'T get you in this place (even if you're down with DeKuyper and other cheap booze).

They have a decent selection of liquor, wine and beer, and although a few of their sections could be expanded (only six different pinot grigio labels? really?), it really does serve its purpose well. That said, I wish the proprietors didn't smoke in there. I might be tempted to shop around instead of running in and out the way I do now.
