Unfortunately it's mostly the latter rather than the former, but no matter what it's always an entertaining 5 minutes to check out what this place holds. One note of caution: they don't take returns and don't give refunds, so be careful when buying anything complicated or expensive. I bought a sweet Hello Kitty electric hot water bottle for 5€, but it only worked 2 weeks before it died, and I was very sad. So be careful what you shell out your money for!

I bought a cool pair of vintage Levi Jeans, because unfortunately they don't make Levi jeans like they use to. Although, I thought 45 euros was a bit high for secondhand jeans. The employee said they also have another shop worth checking out, it's apparently within close range to this shop.

I have not seen this many people in Amsterdam since I arrived last year. Shirts price ranged mainly from 2 to 3 euro.

But apart from that crowning, this place is fabulous! 3 floors of second hand goods that are neatly laid out and labeled and in excellent conditions! The first floor is amazing pieces of all kinds of furniture and also a huge selection of books that unfortunately, were mostly in Dutch. The second floor is garments and accessories, which run the gamut from shoes to belts to hats. Finally, the 3rd floor, which is my fave had kitchenware and decorating Knick-knacks included vases and just all sorts of electronics too! So before going to IKEA, come and check this place out and be prepared to be surprised by the affordability as well as just the cool selection of stuff you can recycle and reuse, rather than buying new!
