She was very patient with me and encouraged me to list out careers that I'd be open to considering. One day, I told her that I was considering going back to school to become an elementary teacher. She recommended I take the time to shadow and make sure it was something I wanted to commit to. Within a couple days, Martha connected me with Principal, and helped me set up several shadowing opportunities. After shadowing for a couple weeks, I was offered a part-time position in the school which turned into me becoming a full-time Kindergarten teacher that school year when another teacher moved away. This all happened within a matter of months! The Principal said that she truly trusted Martha and her recommendation! If it wasn't for Martha's help and the connections that she helped me make, I'm not sure where I'd be!
