Before I set the record straight for the EKG course at this institute I would like to say Mrs…read more Melissa was very sweet and was only doing her job the best way she could. I don't hold her responsible for anything in this review. Now starting this program I was very excited and willing to put in the work required to pass the course and pass my exam. The course mostly went into depth on how to read an EKG, EKG strips and a bunch of vocabulary. I honestly thought I was prepared to take the CET Exam but I was not and I'm still not sure how I passed it. Out of 120 questions, there was maybe 20 questions about the stuff I learned in that course. Everything else I taught myself from taking random quizzes and studying on different websites. I would like to also say Erika Stubbs Green was very unorganized and honestly did not give me enough information about what the institute provides for students. I was lead to believe that if I passed the course with a 75% or higher I would be able to take my CET Exam at the Institute for FREE. NO ONE TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING EXTRA. I thought my $825 included more than what I received. Let me express $120 went into the application and background check. $825 went into a book and I suppose paying the instructor and keeping their lights on. Then $115 for my exam paid to NHA and if I wanted to take my test at the institute I would have to pay an extra $30. I feel like Eight Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars should have included: Uniform, Registration for the CET, The NHA Study Guide, A better book to learn from and at least a notebook with a pen or pencil. I wasted my money on self-teaching and a piece of paper. I would not recommend this course to anyone. I can't speak for the other courses but I really felt like I could have received better knowledge elsewhere. BTW Mrs. Erika could do better with the information she gives out and organizational skills. Considering she administer the test at the institute she could have already planned a date for EKG students to take the exam there after passing the course. When asking her when will the exam be she failed to have an answer and told me to take it at a PSI site then changed her mind and told me she will do it on a specific date (and deciding to tell me about the extra cost). When I ask about it the following week she forgot about it and said she has something going on and pushed the date back. At that point, I was just too fed up with her and the Institute. Don't waste money here. I really feel like the course was over priced anyways.

Without a question the absolute best driving school for any person wanting to be a responsible and…read moresafe driver!!! The Snellville staff here is undoubtedly the most professional, courteous and genuinely knowledgeable school in the state of Georgia. The school is fully accredited and provides instructors who are fully licensed and have insured, very user-friendly vehicles to drive with. They offer a variety of flexible timed programs and tools to set you on the right course. My instructors Lisa and Roderick were so incredibly helpful, patient, honest and respectful. They made me appreciate driving so very much and also how to be a responsible driver at the same time. I felt very safe and comfortable driving with both of them, and that they would direct me towards success. You can tell that this school really cares about their students getting the most beneficial experience and knowledge. Additionally, Cindy the office administrator has been a delight to work with as well. She is communicative, informative and very kind and helpful. I couldn't have passed my driving exam without this school, the knowledge and confidence I obtained after taking the defensive drivers course and 30 hour drivers training and the individuals mentioned above. If youre truly wanting to become a safe and well rounded driver, I would highly suggest enrolling into this school and taking the program you need for successful future. Thank you so much A-1 Snellville. I am so very thankful.

I made an appointment for a six hour class plus road test and I have not heard anything back from this driving school. I made my way out there Tuesday, and July 26, 2023 at 11 AM and no one was in the office on both occasions the office has been closed at that location for a long time from what I was told from a previous customer of that establishment I reached out to their customer service department with no avail. No one has answered me and said anything to me about my refund or even my classes I do not recommend you go to any of these locations and I repeat any of these locations because I was also told by a customer, which is a very good customer for them that the drivers there quit and they do not want to work there so now the business is left closed so if you want to get a driving lesson I recommend finding somewhere else but not this driving location or any other at that matter I am still waiting for someone to contact me about my classes or my refund I spoke to someone from the customer service department this evening and they said that they will get it escalated to a supervisor but I don't know how true that is so we will see what happens but once again, I do not recommend a one driving school at all for any driving needs for any teens, young adults or adults in general.

While this course was reasonably priced, it did not meet my expectations. For a few reasons: (1)…read morethe course was fast paced; (2) the instructor (Professor Gary Cohen) was full of jokes and background information on the nature of the questions that he failed to really get to the depth of some of the problems; (3) the instructor did not offer offer much support before, during, or after the class; and (4) the companion book was ill-prepared with several errors. Had I not taken the LSAT before I would have been totally lost. I pity the students who were experiencing the material for the fist time. Several times throughout the classes the instructor did not seem sure of his answers and in many instances students pointed this out. I feel that students were either too intimidated or ashamed to speak up. This class might be good for a brush up, but I would not recommend it as a prep class for students who are taking the LSAT for the first time. The on-line description for this course was full of hype. Not true at all!

My experience with the Georgia Institute of EMS began with high hopes but ended in a legal dispute…read more I am sharing the facts of my journey so prospective students can have a more complete picture. I enrolled in the AEMT program in February 2024. A few months into the program, in August 2024, I was informed that I was "behind" and was presented with two options: transfer into a more expensive "Flex" program for an additional cost of over $2,000, or I would fail the program. From my perspective, I had no choice but to agree to the additional expense to continue my education. After transferring, the primary issue became the scheduling of my required clinical rotations. Despite my requests, the school did not secure the necessary placements for me in a timely manner. By January 2025, with my course end-date approaching, I was informed that to get the additional time I now needed to complete my clinicals--time I needed because of what I contend were the school's scheduling delays--I would have to pay a new, additional fee of $700 per month. I felt this was unreasonable, as the need for an extension appeared to be a direct result of the school's inability to schedule me. When I was unable to resolve this matter with the administration, I filed a breach-of-contract claim in magistrate court to recover my tuition. In response to my lawsuit for a refund, the Georgia Institute of EMS filed a counterclaim against me for defamation, based on an online review I had posted. After the case was recently moved to Superior Court at the school's request, they increased the amount they are seeking in their defamation counterclaim to $25,000. My educational journey here did not meet my expectations. I would advise potential students to carefully consider all aspects of the program and its policies before enrolling.
