The route isn't the busiest, with buses making their way west from St. George station and east from Jane station three or four times an hour between 5 am and 10 pm. Departing from St. George station (my usual stop when I'm taking the bus), the bus travels north along Bedford to Dupont Street, west along Dupont's entire length to Dundas West and Dupont's continuation Annette Street, finally heading south on Jane Street to Jane station. It's a perfectly serviceable route, during weekdays and in the time period I mentioned. Sometimes I commute home using this bus, enjoying the Bartlett Avenue stop just a dozen metres from my laneway. I have noticed that on weekdays, the buses come into St. George station a few minutes before or after their stated times, but generally they're good. There are two serious problems with the route. 1. On weekends, the buses do not follow anything close to their listed schedules. I could have waited a half-hour for a bus to come past its stated time of arrival, not seeing a bus until I see one passing as I almost reached my destination on foot and sometimes not even then. 2. A couple of years ago, the 26 Dupont bus stopped running after 10 o'clock, on account of a lack of passengers. This is something I can't fault very much the TTC for doing, but still, it'd be nice if it ran until midnight,
