When the trainee had to ask her for help, she barked very unhelpful and unspecific orders at him from the corner of her mouth while looking at me with contempt. I thought it might have just been me, when another customer came in needing help she also shouted at the customer and told her off for dropping her phone! Not only was she rude to the customers, she treated her colleagues like literal slaves, it was the first time in my life I was simultaneously in shock, disgusting, horrified and feeling very sorry for the other customers/trainees. That's the last time I ever use this branch for anything, the Ipswich/Cambridge branches are so much better. This manager might need retraining, disciplinary action or a sacking, but this is not how you talk to people, regardless of who you or they are, and this is not how you treat customers!

Now I realize that our Target stores sell their products. Good for this humanitarian company. Yes, did you even know...in 1849, John and Mary Boot of Nottingham acted on a strong, guiding social conscience. Their hope: that good healthcare and remedies would be available to all, even and esp. the destitute. This company still has an intact, strong heartbeat for the well-being of the poor...it invests over 50MM GBP annually in the healthcare for the UK. They also develop community initiatives to aid the needy, and pay employees for days off taken to volunteer with charities. As well, Boots abides by a rigorous environmental policy for their transport fleet, and *ethically sources* their products. Wow. Humbling Y I just love to support them and give them my business. They do special workshops where all the kids get together and do a painting sesion etc. The prices may be a little high but for what you get and what you can do with it they are reasonable. I loved the open day they had once (they are always open but they were getting peoples attention) where they gave free older copies of the white dwarf magazine and you could buy bundles of items cheaper then normal.
