By design these courses are meant for a group of 4 students. Just wanted to ask about it since the schedule was not up to date. But the person responded very quickly and checked in with the instructor to see when he was available to host one of those courses. Once I heard back I paid to secure my spot. My instructor was Daniel Corral, he was an absolute gem :) he was very patient with me, I have no music experience at all and was fortunate that I was the only student in this class. Daniel gave me a 30 min lesson every week with music sheets and things to work on for the week. I felt really nervous about taking this class since I'm an old lady but he made me feel very comfortable. I can't say I'm amazing now but I understand and feel comfortable learning the ukulele because of Daniel. I highly recommend this studio and I'm sure all the instructors are great!

My daughter's weekly half hour keyboarding lessons were a great deal at $25 for 30 minutes. The weekends are a bit difficult to find parking with multiple churches and lots of restaurants around the school. There are tv monitors so you can watch your child while they're in class. There are lots of places to sit inside and outside while you wait for your child. Class sizes are fairly small. The cost is typical of LA prices. We take classes in another city as well and the cost is $40 less/month, however, class sizes in affordable studios also have triple the amount of students.

Yen Lin is an absolute masterful instructor in both piano and voice for all ages and proficiency…read morelevels. She is a rare find especially for the rates she charges. The lessons are taught at her home but she has two beautifully appointed studios separated from the residence providing a distraction free one on one instruction. She has also partnered with a guitar instructor offering lessons. The area just outside of the studio is a beautiful deck with pretty good views of highland park with comfy chairs (and within earshot of the lessons) which makes it fun to hear the progress of my kiddos. At the end of each "semester" she holds a recital with the students which I find pretty darn cute but also very entertaining. You will not find a more enthusiastic and positive instructor that truly cares for her students and their progress in music.
