I requested a $10 discount on my next per mow service and then he tried to force me into a monthly 15 day mow contact after just three mows. I got a half hour lecture on mowing and how it's the busy season now and he doesn't need my per mow business anymore.. I have worked for several of the largest landscaper companies in the USA for 32 years. I don't need a half hour lecture on mowing grass . I need my grass mowed when I request it. . His rates are also high. I was paying him $65 a mow for a Normal size, open yard. I just got a new quote 15 minutes later for $40 a mow, trim, edge and blow From a larger local competitor. With No sales games. No monthly contract. No 1/2 hour lecture. Just mow on request. That alone gets very high marks from me. I pay them right away and they get their money in a timely fashion. Finally, I got a note from saying Ezekiel had been in the area and cleaned my backflow filter (picture - no charge). Texted back that i had the old style backflow. Steadfast informed us the technician was on his way, which was appreciated. He tested the sprinklers and marked those with issues and then gave us an estimate for the work. The technician worked late and when finished, explained the control box and shut off for the water. The technician did all that was needed to renew our sprinkler system. You see, I had come through and accidentally weed whacked a sprinkler head on our system. The wife had punctured a hole in a line feeding our flower beds out front. Which caused geysers of water and a lack of pressure in much of the rest. The grass wasn't growing, the HOA was unhappy, and I was working too hard. Enter the Lawn MD guys. In less than an hour, they'd repaired and replaced every sprinkler head and system part that was damaged. They improved the spray and height and exposure for the water, showed us how and where it wasn't working right, what they improved, when to water and not to water, and even explained the timer settings and exactly how to use it. Even gave us recommendations for when and how to improve the soil conditions. And then the damages. They were less than HALF of what we initially budgeted for. $150 for the complete service?!? They seriously did more work replacing the parts for cheaper than what I'd priced out for my own part buying. If I had known, I'd have called them A LOT SOONER. Seriously. You should, too.
