But later, I discovered that "Window Wonders" will deliberately ignore a customer's request for service. I even called the Hunter Douglas main office to place complaint about "Window Wonders" for refusing to come to my home to fix problems that were still under warranty. This period lasted for about 1 year, then he returned to fix problems with the shades he installed. But "Window Wonder's" owner lied to me about the warranty being 5 years, when in fact it's a 7 year warranty & on two occasions he extracted payment from me under false pretenses (the false pretense was his insistence the warranty was for 5 & not 7 years). Now, "Window Wonders" owner has chosen to ignore all my calls & requests for service with lame excuses such as, "I have the flu" or "you are on my list." I've waited months for him to come to my home to fix another problem that should've been covered by warranty, calling his office four or five times, but I can see he's ignoring me for good at this point. I called a handyman to fix the problem. I do not recommend this vendor for the reasons stated. You can also see that Hunter Douglas states warranty is for Lifetime, but cords are 7 years. That should put things into even better perspective.
