I had been looking for cow Hyde rugs & driving by one day, noticed some outside on display. Looking back, my hubby recalls that day clearly as the beginning of the most expensive remodel of our lives that is still ongoing. For many years my husband & I have owned a old farm house by the lake in southern Oklahoma. In the beginning we mostly used it as a vacation home. However, last couple years we have been spending more & more time there remodeling, enjoying the farm, the lake & countryside. Santa Fe's showroom changed our lives. The showroom floor will blow you away when you first walk in. It's beautifully done. It's not only a rustic furniture store, they also do interior design & it clearly shows they know what they are doing. Everything looks gorgeous. First time I walked in, I wanted to purchase everything. Seriously. I wanted EVERYTHING!!! Little over two years now, hubby will tell you I'm still on my mission to do just that! ;) The first thing I purchased was a giant cow Hyde, beautiful rustic buffet & a armoire. Then, I decided we needed to go full rustic Farmhouse with the interior. Rustic blue pine ship lap walls, real barn doors etc., Bc the furniture goes exceptionally well with that style of architecture. My father is an Architect & has helped with the structural changes. It's been a real overhaul. We gutted the whole house. One trip to Santa Fe Company, that's all it took & my whole house has been transformed. I have now purchased all our rustic beds, end tables, kitchen island, chairs etc. The pieces I have are well crafted durable rustic furniture that wears exceptionally well. The more you use it the better it looks. I haven't had any problems with any of my pieces. Most recently I stopped by to see what was new & fell completely in LOVE with a wood bench. A redesign of an old wood bench that graced the halls of a old school convent. It goes perfectly by the front door as you come in to hang your coat & take off your shoes. My favorite piece yet. Santa Fe Company has definitely captured my imagination. As long as I can dream, I have no doubt I will keep dreaming & adding more & more to the project. Hubby said looking around the showroom last visit seeing all the new pieces that we could possibly squeeze in here or fit over there, he doesn't know if we will ever be done. Jason, the owner is a Police Officer. Very nice man. He was so helpful in helping me fit a gun to me. I didn't buy just yet but was so impressed. I told Jason, I will be back to buy a gun or two. Time past and I watched many videos on a wide variety of ARs and Pistol Caliber Cabines, Shotguns and Pistols. It's now July 2025. I went back as I was ready. Jason took me and walked me through a variety of pistols and Long guns. I asked if he remembered me. He said I sure do. I still did not buy a gun. However, I told Jason I'll be back before the week is out. I went home and watched videos on guns I thought I'd really like. I decided on a Ruger LC 45 ACP Carbine and a S&W 9mm pistol. I wanted a 9 mm because of the size I picked out to carry. C&J didn't have a Ruger LC in stock in 45 ACP. Jason said "O can order that for you and it will be here in 2 days. I agreed to purchase the gun and the S&W. I asked if he wanted me to pay for it that day. No, he said. It's fine. I ordered it then explored all the other related items in the store. Left, went home and watched several more videos on what I'd ordered. Still convinced that what I wanted. I went back to the store every day to explore. I saw severL Law Enforcement men come in and many repeat customers. All of which bought more of something and some made suggestions to me, oth et s encouraged me to stay with what I'd picked out saying my choices were sound, solid good guns. Cindy wrote up my gun tickets and while I filled out forms the state and Fed require. Like I said, I was in the store every day. Thursday went back in as it was the day Cundy said my gun would arrive. Me, exited went back before she could call and tell me my gun was in. Well, it wasn't in when I got there. She explained that for some reason, pistols arrive in the AM rifles in the afternoon. OK, not sure I could understand why they don't ship them all together. Anyway, while sitting in the chair inside the store. A USPS man walked in with a long box and laid it on the counter. I sad out loud, I bet that's my gun. Jason was helping a couple of customers at the same time. It was a busy day for him. Sold each customer some items and began opening the box. Sure enough. He pulled out a long Rugerbox. It was my Carbine. I bought Red/Green combo Dot site with Jason set up and sighted in. The sight was spot on. It co- witnessed with the steel DOT sight. I bought sme Glock mags that fit the Carbine, more Ammo. Today August 1st. I went back again to purchase more Ammo and clips for both guns i purchased yesterday. I cannot praise the customer service more than this. They are truly to best I've seen and the most honest. They don't try to sell you something you don't need. Yes, they need more of certain items. However, I literally cleaned out some of his inventory. They are more expensive than the box stores but the best customer service is worth it and besides they aren't that much more and in spite of what I just said. One of the Co-Owners gave me a discount. I love these people. I highly recommend C&J Sporting Goods. Give them a try. You'll walk out happy. Oh, and if they don't have it. They will order most things for you with a 2 days delivery. I randomly decided to come in after looking for a place that would sell button straps for my new acoustic, and wow, I'm disappointed I didn't give this place my business years before. Due to the increase of online popularity and decrease of foot traffic and sales, OKC Music and Sound will be closing soon. This means they have huge sales throughout the store, but much of the inventory has already been cleaned out (darn you people who cleaned out the phosphor-bronze stock). That being said, the owner Robin, was still incredibly kind, helpful, and goofy. The cheapest price I could find for someone in the OKC area to drill/install a button strap into my acoustic was about $40. I am so thankful I decided to search around a little bit more on Google because Robin saved me a ton of money. I got guitar strings, a button strap install, humidity packs, and a peg winder for $13. THIRTEEN DOLLARS. I felt guilty, but that's how liquidation sales work I guess. Robin did mention that he plans on opening a smaller shop doing more luthier type of work, and when that happens, I will certainly be going to him.
