I had very high hopes for SoCal High End Detail. They offer a great quoted price for their services…read moreand initially were very responsive. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them due to the severe lack of response. I set up an appointment for Saturday, 8/12/23. I was told I would be contacted and confirm everything (provide my address, etc) - I reached out Friday, 8/11/23 via text advising that I would be free any time on Friday or Saturday, if it was more convenient for them. I have not been contacted. I am leaving this review solely geared towards the lack of communication. I am certain they do great work. I'm happy to leave my review open ended and if the situation can be rectified, I'm happy to change my rating based on a new line of communication and the work performed.

Our 2012 Toyota Rav4 was in dire need of help. A rear bumper was dented (car meets corner of…read moregarage), somehow, somewhere a front bumper bracket got broken, and there were little dents & scrapes everywhere. Not to mention, the upholstery and floor coverings were really grungy no matter how much we vacuumed, and the outside only ever got a drive-thru wash. So sad, so unloved! Several co-workers urged me to take the car to Doctor Detail in Huntington Beach to save my car from looking like a junker. I brought it in to see what could be done. Our Toyota Rav4 hasn't looked this good since we bought it in 2016! After repairing all the broken parts, somehow managing to save the back bumper and getting rid of the dents, they were able to match the paint (which had faded over the years) and now the bumper looks brand new! The car's finish is smooth and shiny. The flooring and upholstery haven't been this clean in years (we won't mention the Avocolado incident that we could never quite erase). We are proud of our baby - it may be 14 years old, but it only has 73,000 miles on it and it looks amazing! The Doctor Detail team is so easy to work with and you can tell they have this down. Pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the work. And we're no longer embarrassed to be seen driving it!

Johnny, the new manager, is seriously amazing. I've been going to this car wash for over a year and…read morehave always had a good experience. Then I got a Jeep with light-colored seats, and after one of my washes I noticed oil stains on the driver's seat. One of the technicians tried to clean it, but it actually made it worse, so I was pretty sad. Johnny stepped in right away and told me not to worry. He said his team would take care of it, and they did. The seat looks brand new now. What could have been a really bad experience turned into such a positive one. Johnny handled everything so well, and his team did an incredible job. I really appreciated how they took care of the situation instead of brushing it off. Great customer service. Oh and my car is so clean, it literally sparkles! They are the best! I highly recommend - low key - they are the best car wash ever.

UPDATE: Updating my review since the business owner…read moreobviously likes to respond to all his negative reviews to try and control the narrative - saying customers are lying, leaving false reviews, or weren't even customers to begin with. To start, the business owner is saying I lied about my experience and I was "belligerent" over them being late. He edited his response to me four different times (see emails). To address his original comments: 1.) "you provided two different numbers" -- this information is correct, however, the business owner ONLY used the primary one (just for clarification) and never contacted the other number throughout this experience. 2.) "over an hour before arrival, we informed you our technician would be running late" -- I wasn't contacted by anyone from this company until *I* reached out first, by this time, the technician was already late by 10 minutes. 3.) "we completed your full service including the engine bay detail, which we have clear photo evidence of" -- business owner offered free wash, wax, and engine bay cleaning due to being late - the wax was not done, or done poorly, and the engine bay was not cleaned, we were picking leaves out of it and its dusty, as you can see in the picture. 4.) "after the job was finished, we spoke directly" -- no? We didn't speak directly. I spoke to your technician and thanked him for his work and tipped him - but since he showed up late, we were pressed on time and needed to be on our way and didn't check the car throughly. 5.) "I still gave you a courtesy discount due to the delay" -- for clarification, no discount was given on the initial cost of the Interior Only detail. Only the offer of free services that were not completed, other than the wash. 6.) "you were belligerent over us arriving 30 minutes late, even though we had already let you know in advance that we were running behind and confirmed before booking that you had the entire day open." -- apparently, a customer being short and annoyed that your technician was running late with no notice isn't allowed lmao. If a woman says "hi." or "no, I don't want to cancel" is considered "belligerent", I suppose that's a whole other issue you have. Again, I wasn't told in advance that your technician would be late, and I never once said I had the entire day open. 7.) "Throughout the entire process, your behavior toward our team was distasteful and confrontational." -- when your technician arrived, I said hello, and politely asked him to move his car from blocking the driveway. That was the only interaction I had with him, aside from tipping him. We let him do his work and we sat in front of the house in the sun for about 20 minutes, on our property, several feet away from him. Overall, this company lacks professionalism and can't admit to being wrong. Cya

I reached out to Shyne Mobile Auto Detailing and I spoke with Connor. He was extremely prompt and gave me all the information up front. I did let him know that I was looking around still and I would reach back out to him. I was looking everywhere for a detailing service and the prices are extremely pricey and those prices aren't including interior. I reached back out to Connor and let him know that I'd like to set up an appointment for the Silver package. He was able to get me an appointment the very next day. My detailer, Steve B., reached out confirming my appointment and was quick and responsive. I wasn't physically home since I was at work but my fiance was so he saw the process. I was blown away with Steve B's work. He made my car smell super clean on the inside and the outside looks like glass. I can say it's show room ready as if i just purchased it from the dealership. Steve B did an amazing job. I could tell he is passionate about his job, detail oriented and dedicated! I would reach out to Connor and ask for Steve B! They have a customer as long as they're in business!

As a mom of two boys who are constantly playing sports, my car is almost always a disaster. Ralphie gave my car an excellent wash, but what really stood out was that he took it upon himself to thoroughly clean my interior. I never asked him to, and he certainly didn't have to. He simply did it because he genuinely cares about his work and his customers. Ralphie, thank you for your hard work, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail. They did a great job cleaning the car and getting the sticky stuff out of the carpet and console area. They also cleaned the car quickly and thoroughly. They are worth the price and I only wish they were closer to my house as I would come here more often. If they had a monthly car wash club, I would also join it. The one I do have is only $20 a month and it's next to my house but they do not do any work on the inside. They only spray the headlights and hood. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.
