I got 3 quotes from Plumbing Plus, Bill Howe and Andy "The tankless plumber". The first two each told me something different, Bill Howe wanted to gouge me for almost $1,000 for a electrician they said I would need to install a new outlet for the unit (there is one 5 feet away that I plug my washer and dryer into). Plumbing Plus told me I would need a water softener system to make it run correctly, while Bill Howe said no it's not needed a better set up would be a whole house filter. It went on and on, Andy was my 3rd and final quote and boy I'm glad I called him! He told me I didin't need any of those things if I didn't want them, the heater itself comes with a filter that takes out all of the junk in our fine water here in San Diego. He broke it down, there are two different filter choices, he didn't do a hard sell or anything like that on any of it. You can tell he has been a plumber forever, knows his competition and his customer service and bids reflect that. He installed our water heater on Friday, it looks great, he cleaned up his mess along the way and when he was done. I would call him again in a heartbeat for our plumbing needs.

What an amazing company and what great customer service! I've used Dillon for my real estate customers and for my own home, and I've been impressed by their service and the quality of their work every time. They really go above and beyond to make sure you understand what needs to be done and why. One of their young plumbers even took the time to educate me about the water heater in my client's vacant home, explaining how a water heater should be handled during long periods of vacancy. And Teresa in the front office is a gem ~ so easy to work with. Dillon Plumbing will always get my business!

I'm a new home owner, and…read morea teacher, and there are just things always going on my mind, so when I heard a little drip-drip sound in the basement on a Saturday, I didn't know what to do. I called a friend and they recommended Hyde Park Plumbing. I can't say enough about how kind, honest, helpful, and flexible the service they provided was. Jeff came out on a Saturday, even though he said he was really only going to do emergencies. I explained what was going on and he came out to take a look. He quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a temporary weekend fix. He knew what was wrong, gave us a quote to fix the problem that was fair and reasonable, and then also gave us a quote (without any pressure) to fix what was likely the ultimate, much bigger project, root of lots plumbing problems (ollllllld pipes in the ground). We scheduled a Wednesday morning appointment to fix the problem with the pipes, acknowledging that we weren't quite ready for the big fix just yet. I, being a teacher, promptly forgot about the appointment because I had too many things on my mind with the start of school. Jeff and Brook (the owners) were super understanding and just came back the next day without hesitation or any grief about me missing the first appointment. The team, with the best plumbing truck I've ever seen, fixed the problem super quickly, and was definitely the most trusted team of plumbers I've been around. There's been a lot of plumbers and plumbing done on these older east end houses, and there's a lot of opportunities to over bid, or over do requested work. Hyde Park Plumbing were honest, fair, reasonable, flexible, and understanding. I trust their work, and I can't recommend them enough!

He is so polite, very professional, communicative and take so much pride in his work. He was apprehensive at first to do an outdoor shower for liability purposes, but still came to spec the job, which I really appreciated. He ended up taking the job and was exciting about the challenge and the design and went as far as doing research on how he could make the water valves safe from freezing in the winter. He just went above and beyond every step of the way. I really appreciated the complementary home inspection of all the plumbing inside and outside the house PRIOR to starting any work. That was so smart and so nice and it actually turned out to be a life saver for me when he found a pin hole leak in a pipe underneath my house that had been leaking for weeks! I am not sure anyone else would have found that. Needless to say, he ended up fixing that, saving me a disaster down the road and getting the shower done in two visits. He worked non-stop all day, is very clean and neat and takes so much pride in his work. I highly recommend him! I am very happy :)
