Caveat: This is a review of the marketing ethics of 23cornwallroad.com, rather than its service and products.
I run a website. I get lots of companies trying to spam the comments section on my website, in order to get links to their own businesses and therefore boost their search engine rankings. I approve the links if its included in a constructive comment relavant to the article. But sometimes, it is just so blatantly spam, like this comment left by 23cornwallroad.com:
"thanks for providing the useful information about food & drink courses & also thanks for providing the prize of the cocktail at London Steak & Alehouse
http://www.23cornwallroad . com/"
23cornwallroad.com as a business isn't even remotely related to food. And the webmaster has just tagged his site's URL to the comment. The comment is random too. Although the article was about the London Steak & Alehouse, there was no mention of a prize for a cocktail.
To the webmaster of 23cornwallroad.com. Don't engage in black-hat SEO tactics, and don't hire link-building companies that promise you the world - because chances are you'll just end up like JC Penney did recently - penalised by search engines. read more
