Their menu is always evolving--it's clearly not fixed, so you're in for seasonal specials. I tried the Cherry St. cocktail, which tasted like a grown-up Cherry Pepsi, and the Tikes Backpack beer, which was smooth and easy to drink. Alena had the fresh and flavorful fiesta bowl with grilled chicken, while I opted for the cheesy burger loaded with melty onions. The atmosphere is friendly and local, and the food smelled amazing

It is so nice to have a place like this in Roaring Spring. It's a brewery, so let's start there…read more The beers are excellent. They'll give you a small sample before you commit, and sometimes there are so many interesting beers on the board, it's worth getting a flight to enjoy the variety. There's enough variety that there should really be something for everyone. I don't drink mixed/specialty stuff, but I've heard from others it's really good. As far as the food, I've always had really good food here. Nachos, burgers, and the specials are always really tasty and good quality. It's a small menu, but again, it's a brewery. If I'm there, it's for the beer first, and the food second. The people are friendly and everyone is always busy doing something. It's so nice to go somewhere that they take time to talk to you and make sure everything is good, and are still taking care of the place and other customers. Atmosphere is comfortable, makes you want to be there, and doesn't matter if you're inside the bar or out in the beer garden. I also appreciate the efforts to showcase local musicians. It's a hidden gem- check it out!

Nestled into a little nowhere...coal country brewing has the welcoming nature of a dive bar but the…read moremenu can rival that of a Michelin star experience with a home town touch. Every menu item is like a hug. The cook here makes everything from scratch from making fresh sauerkraut to pickling their own gardenia. All the meat is local and freshly processed. All draft beers and cocktails are brewed in house. With 4 cocktail options and 16 different draft beers on tap, plus 4 non-alcoholic options, there is something to tantalize every preference and taste bud. Having been here a couple times now...I can say without a doubt my ancestors sing every time we order the tot, sauerkraut and corned beef appetizer. The wings are crispy and flavorful. The seafood is also fresh off the ocean. The service is personal and exceptional like having family serve you with food made from love. My favorite hands down is the Italian hoagie with au jus. Prepare for a happy food dance every time you eat here. It's worth the drive and the try, and I'm sure you will find yourself, like me returning time and time again.

The attached bar also brings a warm home town inviting atmosphere to the space. Between the events and the warm inviting customer service it is very much a place to feel relaxed. The bartenders are always kind and personable as well. They have a wide selection of different cocktails and also have the option to purchase any moonshine you might fancy at the time. The best way I can describe this place is an environment of coming home. Highly recommend. In addition I know in about a month they will be offering food as well which I'm sure will be to the standard of the rest of the vibe

Everyone in the bar was friendly and welcoming, felt like a neighborhood bar! If we lived in the area we'd be here all the time! Alsoooooo....
