Paul at 1st St. towing was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this towing company. My family & I were visiting Ocean City, MD on vacation for the week & at 5:30pm on Friday night our car broke down in the parking garage of our condo building. We Had to check out the next morning & we were panicked. I called & left my name & number on the answering service & within 10 minutes Paul called me back & assured me that he could tow my vehicle out of the garage to a family members house that lived in Bethany Beach the same day. He was on another call at the time & said he would call me when he was on his way. He did call me back & was at my car by 7:30pm. When he got there I told him I had to find a way to get the vehicle back to my home 150 miles from the beach. He explained that instead of taking the vehicle to my temporary location, he could tow the car to his secured lot & tow it straight to my home instead. His pricing was more than competitive & the vehicle was Brought to my home late Sunday night. He offered to bring it sooner but I told him we were not in a rush. My husband got into an accident while we were on vacation. The cops called another towing company who charged us an unreasonable rate for towing our truck a few miles. Meanwhile I called around to find out our towing options to get our truck back home (130 miles away). We spoke to Paul who was so nice and helpful to get our truck from the dishonest towing lot to his. He didn't charge us overnight storage fees while we navigated with the insurance company. And he ensured our truck was delivered safely to our local dealership for repairs. Working with such an honest and helpful person during a stressful time was the only silver lining of our accident. This is the towing company you want to show up when your vehicle breaks down. Paul showed up in less then 45 minutes (and this was on a Sunday). He got my truck off the highway and to a safe location, then hooked up for the trip to my repair facility. He was very pleasant and very understanding of my situation. I could tell he really knew the business. He dropped me off at a location where my wife could pick me up safely. I've been soaked more than once with towing bills, but when Paul gave me the bill, I realized there are still some honest, helping businesses around. I found myself stranded in West OC after the alternator in my truck went up. I called my roadside assistance company and they scheduled a tow from a different company. After waiting three hours and the tow truck not showing (1.5 hours past their ETA), my roadside assistance company called 1st Towing. Paul reaches us within 0 minutes after hearing we had been sitting in the hot truck for as long as we had. He attempted to get the truck started before towing it, was extremely professional and friendly, and helped get my car to a garage. I cannot comment on price, it was covered by my roadside assistance company. However, Paul was prompt, friendly, accommodating and professional. Family of five on our way to annual stay in OCMD when our minivan broke down tonight. I took a chance on 1st street towing and am very fortunate to have found them. Paul was a really nice guy and he made sure to help our family out with not only a tow, but in organizing a taxi for us as well. He took time to take our vehicle to our condo first so I could unpack it before delivering it to a service place that is open on the weekends. My car was dead after being parked at the inlet all day. I figured I had left something on. I called 1st street towing since they appeared to be the closest, and I was trying to save on the fee. Paul Arrived VERY quickly, took a quick look, and found that the terminal was loose. He tightened it in 5 seconds, and we were on our way.
