Gala driving school was the best of 3 driving schools I tried. Being a uni student, I wanted to get…read moremy license for the summer without having to add extra pressure to my then work load. A friend recommended this company and I can honestly say, it was the best option I had tried. My instructor was Sheilpa who allowed me to spend most of my lesson driving rather than parked on the side talking about driving. She also provided me with excellent rates and has a wonderful personality, which made every lesson enjoyable and providing a relaxed environment where it was easier to learn. I would recommend this school to anybody and everybody looking to start lessons soon. Couldn't have passed without Sheilpa! Thanks!

Shows up on time. Appears to be calm. Until things go south and Phil becomes aggressive. He lacks…read moreethics and morals: he has zero intention on seeing you pass. My wife spent (wasted) 2.5 years taking classes with this man and he suggested to book the practice test in 2023; but when it was finally booked in 2026 (!!!) he said she was still not ready. How was she ready in 2023 then? Easy: business model. The guy needs a number of long standing students to make a stable income from. That is not being a good instructor; that is being inmoral and have no ethics for the profession. When my wife finally told him she didn't want classes anymore, Phil actually became verbally violent, aggressive and blaming her for all the faults at the wheel. Well, of course: she didn't have anyone to correct the mistakes. (yes Phil, I have 2 cameras with all registered at the front of our house).

Passed recently with Rob at Aim High - could not rate Rob any higher, super professional from day…read more1, he is super clear and detailed and Is completely focused on your driving throughout the whole of every lesson. He has great memory and attention to detail and really works with the mistakes he notices in your driving to improve them and get you passed as soon as possible. Rob also gives you access to an online theory prep site that he pays for subscription to and is constantly there if you need any further help (this site was essential to me passing my theory with 49/50). He is extremely punctual and is great with communication - and last but not least, VERY good value! He does not over charge unlike a lot of driving companies now and genuinely offers the best service. Highly highly recommend!
