There were chairs in front to wait to be serviced. We had to wait a while before we were serviced since others were waiting and an appointment showed up while we were waiting. Then there was confusion about my sister getting her nails done so another person was put in front of her. The salon offers services for nails and toes including pedicures, manicures , and full sets. They have a variety of polish available. Some speciality designs may not be able available depending on what you desire. I asked about a design with foil but they weren't able to do it. They suggested the cat eye polish. They had a few colors available. Kevin took his time doing my nails. He was nice and not very talkative. I got a full set with a blue metallic polish and two nails with the cat eye effect. I also got to interact with Linda. She was very personable, helpful, & funny. She did my neice's nails and did a hand painted Christmas design that my neice loved. Overall we were happy about the end product of our nails.

I like them slightly coffin, grinded down thin and sharp edges. Exactly this. My ocd is terrible, and I will peel them off in a hot second if they are 'off'. I could tell Vy was a little annoyed at how specific I was being - I also couldn't decide on color or design, it was one of those days - but she did exactly as I asked and I am so happy with them! Sam did my pedicure, and it was so relaxing and she did the polish perfect. I usually go to another spot that I really do like, about 30 minutes from my house but Charming nails is only 10 minutes. This is my new spot, I am very happy with my experience.

The massage was great. The color is fabulous. And I really had no complaints. It was actually probably my favorite pedicure ever. They truly looked amazing and I hope they all come out that good. My hands, however, are a nightmare. I got Gel X done. 2 days later a nail pulled off while I was pulling up my leggings... literally not rough on my hands at all. I went back in to get it fixed (it was painful) and they offered to glue it down... I literally just got them done, I'm not sure why there was any push back about getting it fixed. So they fixed it and then told me to be careful on them like it was a me issue and not a quality issue... Lo and behold, I've had 2-3 more nails pull up and break since getting them done, and have been using glue to hold them on and get me by until my next appt. It's been exactly 2 weeks. That's insane. I went to a hole in the wall nail salon in Orlando and they lasted perfectly for 3 weeks without breaking or pulling up at all. I'm highly disappointed in the quality of the Gel X service here. I've had it done several places and this is by far the worst, unfortunately. Side note: they won't see you as a walk in if they can't leave on time. I've had many other salons see me and stay past closing, and there would be other people getting their nails done too past closing, not just me. Thought that was a normal thing. So that definitely didn't sit well with me when I rushed through almost 2 hours of traffic to make it there, and they couldn't stay 20 mins past closing time to fit me in.

They suggested a gel builder to strengthen her nails. Instead of soaking the nails off, he used a fake nail to pry it off, doing additional damage to her natural nails, he cut her several times and the "builder" ended up being a thick coating like the dip that ended up all over her skin. He also did not try to shape them whatsoever. I wish they had explained that it was not really gel polish. They ended up thick and look like globs of white on her nails. While our pedicures were quick, yet efficient, the manicure was the worst we have experienced. We did not have the time for this service and ended up unhappy with the results.
