This branch had a big grand opening party as a WaMu branch right before it went under but now is a…read morebusy yet small outpost in the Chase Galactic Empire across from the Super Target and down the street from my nemesis "Cold War" US post office. Recap: http://www.yelp.com/biz/united-states-postal-service-houston-3 Pros: - Convenient branch near the Fiesta Mart, Reliant Stadium, Target, and other shopping. - Relatively quick processing by drive-through and bank tellers. - Friendly tellers behind several inches of bulletproof glass. Though, if I was behind all of that glass, I'd think my inner Snarl Monster would just let loose since you're safe from retribution by customers. Cons: - Parking is at a premium. You'd think they were giving free money inside with all of the cars parked out front. - The branch looks positively gaunt inside with a bare minimum of furniture. You'd think they had a garage sale to raise some cash for the home office to pay back the TARP money. Overall, this branch is a small outpost with only a smidgen of cute tellers (actually, only one - and he works the drive-through) but it gets the job done.

I didn't want to touch it) Anyway indoors there is another walk up ATM (maybe 2). That particular one you can walk in freely during business hours, but after hours you have to put your debit card in the door to open it. A lot of people don't know that, because at this location I see people walking up to the drive up ATM all the time. Inside the branch there are personal bankers and the tellers like any other branch. The last time I actually went in they were so eager to help me. They must have had customer service complaints prior, or they're district manager was in there; because they were on me like I was the only girl in the club!! "Whoa.. I just want to make a transfer ma'am" Anyway I've never had a problem with this branch and will return.
