My wife and I were conned into joining this gym a couple of years ago. It was the, now well-known, tactic of You have won a year's free membership and when you get there, the costs keep going up. To be fair, it would still have been a very fair rate had we been able to make decent use of the gym, but - It is a drive away from home (so I had to go, my wife doesn't drive) and the opening times clash with people who have to work to make the money to pay the fees!
Having explained that:
There are, in effect two gyms as the ladies prefer to work out in privacy, unfortunately a lot of the men are more interested in posing than anything else! The equipment is first class and there is sufficient to not have to queue for a particular machine. The shower, sauna and steam facilities are also excellent.
The staff are, as far as I have seen, all very competent and knowledgeable. read more
