I ended up booking a facial for my mom and I after much hesitation, because I couldn't pass up this deal! I hesitated before booking because I've had complete horror experiences with facials. The estheticians I've seen in the past have been so rough and applied way too much pressure to my face, causing me to cry from the pain during extractions. Monique was so calming and soothing throughout this experience. A day before our appointment, she texted parking and enter an email directions, and the day of she welcomed us into the perfectly decorated spa and began our services right on time. Since I had some time to kill before my facial, Monique recommended getting my eyebrows done with Heather from @featherwaxshoppe. My eyebrows look amazing and since Heather uses a special wax, I was able to get a facial right after with no irritation. During my facial, Monique was super informative and kept making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. She even texted me a few days later to see how my skin was doing. She's a true professional. I can't wait to continue services with Monique so that she can help me achieve flawless skin for my wedding! Maria, the owner & only masseuse there asks plenty of questions & has customers fill out a questionaire in order to customize each session for whatever is bothering you that day. She is very knowledgable & has those rare "healing hands" that are skilled, therapeutic & relaxing. She takes her time & doesnt rush, spending at least a full hr, sometimes a lil more (instead of 50mins, like most places) working her magic w/ a variety of techniques, including a little deep tissue, swedish & hot stones (which will make you melt). Being the only masseuse there she doesnt offer couples massages, but my GF & i went in for Valentines Day & she worked on me 1st while my gf soaked her feet in the next room, then vice versa. My GF loved her massage, which is rare, cause all her massage experiences in the past have not been good. Massagetime is downstairs in a little office building which is easy to find right off Post Ave, near the Northern State Pkway w/lots of parking available on the street. And her office hours are very flexible, i believe she will come in any day of the week if she is available, cause i think i have been in Wed-Sun, early in the am & as late as 6pm. Inside is so serene & pleasant, with a heated table, i've drifted off a few times on the table & as i'm writing this review i am dreaming about my next appt already. Book an appointment & you wont regret it, you'll be in good hands...literally!

I'm honestly confused by all of the positive reviews because our experience was completely…read moredifferent. We booked a 45-minute foot massage, and unfortunately it was extremely disappointing. There was barely any pressure at all, to the point where I could hardly even feel the massage. On top of that, about 75% of the time was spent massaging my legs rather than my feet, which was frustrating considering we specifically came for a foot massage. The biggest issue was that the massage definitely did not last the full 45 minutes that we paid for. Between the lack of pressure, very little time actually spent on the feet, and being shorted on the time, I left feeling like it was a complete waste of money. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this place based on our experience.
