They have been very helpful to us all and I would recommend others to make use of their skills and talents. She and April have become important supporters for our family. Phil

I am incredibly happy with The Hair Loft in Warren. I have been going there for over a year after…read moreit was recommended to me by a friend. I have tried several salons in Camden and the cuts were not that great, the stylists were not there for very long so I was always dealing with a new person, and they were incredibly expensive for services. I tried out the Hair Loft and I have been going back ever since. They are no nonsense and very friendly. I get hair cuts and sometimes highlights. They listen to what you are interested in and provide feedback on what will work for my hair type. I have also recommended this place to a friend who also switched to this salon.

She sat me down in the chair didn't even brush my hair and just started chopping. I stopped her and asked her "are you not going to measure my layers" she took it as a joke and was laughing and said I don't know how they do it in Texas but if you know what your doing you don't need to measure it. She didn't even pry my hair in sections. She literally was just chopping away. My hair cut usually takes 45 minutes and Yvonne took 15 minutes. I have wavy/curly hair and normally they have to blow dry it straight after the cut to check if all the layers is even.... Nope not her.... She even told me does your patients question you when you treat them?? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! As u can see the two sides just have chinned blobs! She BUTCHERED my hair. And after the service she had the nerve to tell me it's ok you still have plenty of hair left. You can come back if you don't like it..... I have never been this livid with a hair cut. She shouldn't be allowed to hold scissors near anybodys hair. I posted more than one photo that won't post on Yelp so please look at more pics on the google review

For this reason I could have used more care, not less. It was a slapdash, careless cut. I would have done just as well going to a barber. I will say I had one other haircut with a different stylist a few months earlier and it was totally fine but I won't go back.

The best haircutter anywhere in the US. This is not an exaggeration: my mother and sister have…read moreboth flown from Virginia almost exclusively to have their hair cut by Unique. What's so great about her? Aside from her fabulous no-nonsense but loving attitude, served up in a thick Boston accent, the moderate prices are almost unheard of for a hair salon of this quality. Most importantly, though, Unique is a magician with hair. With one look at your hair, whether thin, thick, short, long, frizzy, or limp, Unique sees the perfect cut and, with a few well-placed snips, has you out of there looking perfect in no time at all. Every time. That's something I've never been able to say for another hair salon, and I'll keep saving my haircuts for my visits to Maine until I can.

I'd brought a paper with what my previous hairdresser had written down what she'd done and Unique actually suggested something a little different, and she was spot on. The color blended better and looked so soft and pretty! Love the cut. Super friendly and nice, both of the ladies at this salon were phenomenal! Fantastic experience. And also reasonably priced. I've paid much more for inferior color jobs that had to be re-done and damaged my hair. I believe her when she says she fixes a lot of people's hair who come there after it's been ruined by another salon. Without a doubt!
