Visited Thirteenth Colony Distillery last week with my wife. I discovered their whiskey and rye about a year ago and I was surprised on just how flavorful and amazing their offerings were. I saw they were a Georgia Bourbon and immediately wanted to support this company. The Master Distiller, Grant, took about an hour out of his busy schedule to chat with us and even offered some of his special future offerings to see what we thought of them! This is a small footprint and everything is done on site, to include filtering their water until its damn near sterile. My husband and son talked about wanting to go tour the distillery. We went about 2 weeks ago. It was great. We did the tour & tasting. I loved that we got to see every part of the distillery. Everything is made a small warehouse. The best part is the equipment is made out of recycled metals. And the tour guide was great! My husband and son loved the bourbon. They even got to try the 113 Bourbon finished with Maple Wood coming out this month as a Limited Run. Which they said was fantastic! I highly recommend going. It was about 1 1/2 hour drive from where we live, but it was well worth it. SO glad we went. read more

This place is hands down the best producer of bourbon and rye in Georgia I have ever tasted. I consider myself a very lucky man to have tried a lot of bourbon and whiskies in my life and the things they had in the barrel hold up to some of the best I've ever tasted! the team opened their doors for us on a day off to make sure we had an amazing experience and I cannot say enough about how much that means to me and our group... this is what the community of spirits needs! Amazing experience at this hidden gem. We gave it a whirl in route to Alabama from Florida and we did not leave disappointed. The walk-through and discussion were fantastic, and we even got to FaceTime with the President. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly.
