Even at 8pm, it was a little busy. After a quick stop in the Walmart, I locked up the Sprinter van and tried to get a night's sleep. This Walmart tolerates overnight RV parking and that's what I did as my van is converted. However, it was not to be. After two "burnouts" in the parking lot, I opted to move along to somewhere else. The shopping center is anchored by the Walmart. There is also a Dollar Tree, liquor store, mobile phone store, pizza, shoes, nail salon and a bunch more. I stopped by here today just to observe the traffic and to see how much business these individual stores were doing. Business is brisk to say the least! Saturday's and Sunday's are the two busiest days around this plaza. I advise an earlier arrival. Approximately half of these businesses open at 9:00 am.

The movie theater offered senior citizen ticket rates and Kohl's went the extra mile to find an item I was looking for. Though I must admit the cash register line was rather loooong at Kohl's but worth due to the customer care I received. I assess I really got great deals on the items I purchased. Later that evening the family and I ate dinner at Bubba's. The food and drinks were delicious. I recommend the chili, burgers and French fries. Bubba's honors military service member with a discount on food purchases and has a sign thanking us for our service. If you're in Gastonia, NC make a point to patronize Franklin Square Shopping Center!

This complex is located directly beside S.C. 105 ( aka Hyatt St. )and is directly across from the local high school. I parked here for about twenty minutes this morning and observed the customer flow. Although I didn't see many people coming or going there were quite a few cars parked in the parking lot.

Businesses located here are Edward Jones, Iron City Pharmacy, a UPS store, a gym called Total Definitions, and a hair stylist place called Headlines Unlimited. There were only a few customers doing business today. I recommend this mall for an easy way in and out.
