They were quick to answer my questions. 2-3 days later we had other companies to follow up. We did take the time to get 3-4 estimates all seemed pretty much in line. The difference was John came to our house 2 times Once was to introduce products of windows Impact screens and then John came back 2nd time to review job and cost. We decided to go with Drill Sergeant after 3 other companies actually sent us their estimates by email and no to very little follow up. Then John explained all their procedures once more. To our surprise John explained that our final inspection would be preformed by Brett he is the Supervisor and Forman that inspects all jobs for Final Inspection "3 times" This eliminate 99% of any issues before ordering our windows, door and 2 impact screens. The constant communication and follow up we never had to call! Quality of workmanship and materials was as we expected. Installer was very neat. Did a great job and everything fit as all the extra efforts were really worth it to us. Would highly recommend this company for quality, service, price and workmanship. However, I had to contacted him weekly to check on his schedule, and every week he said he was planning on starting my project the next week!! Today, June 25, he again said he could start next Monday. After four weeks of this, I felt it was reasonable to question him about saying this for three weeks. His reply was, "I don't want to fight with you". What??? Then he offered to return my deposit check. At this point I am not sure he ever planned on starting my floors.

Premier's contracts request a deposit of half the quoted project amount and I asked him in the e-mail if he'd like me to mail the deposit in or if he'd like to pick it up, assuming he may want it ASAP. Vince responded and said it would be more like mid to late November for the project to be completed to which I said that would work. After not hearing back for 4 weeks, I contacted Vince 10/20 and he said that he did not receive the deposit and did not want to "hound" customers. Follow up is not hounding in the service industry. So, I said I would be disappointed if the project would be delayed any longer so to please call me and let me know where we stood regarding scheduling at this point. Have not heard back as of 10/28. Poor communication, lack of follow up and lack of quality service knowledge.
