The Club at Twelve Oaks Wedding Luncheon-The Water Oak Room
Dana D.

We returned to host our daughters wedding luncheon here on April 24, 2021. This time we had the water oak room. In April it is the perfect time of year to host an event in this space. It was beautiful. The staff did an amazing job setting up. The food was so good! They clean it up. It's definitely a great place to host an event. Love it.

Mud coming up through carpet

I was there for a vendor event yesterday and it was appalling how they handled the situation. The inside of the permanent outdoor event tent was a muddy mess. There was no staff trying the alleviate the issue. There was an outdoor port a paddy that would of been nice but there was no water attached to it. Toilets would not flush and you could not wash your hands. On top of that is was supposed to be heated but there was no heat running. I am not sure who manages this property but they should be ashamed! The conditions were basically an indoor carpeted venue that turned into a mud pit!

Worst venue I have ever been to for an event! The staff was not accommodating, the floor was soaking wet and muddy, and the staff at the restaurant was incredibly rude and acted like they were better than the vendors. There was no heat in the back of the event space despite being assured there would be but it fired up right at time for the event to be over in preparation for a club member event. The community page posted telling people not to come due to the conditions despite the fact that vendors had paid good money to sell their product there. So disappointed.

Absolutely perfect venue for a wedding luncheon that we had to downsize due to Covid. Katriel Abbott Photgraphy.

I have been…read morehere for two years now and hope to stay a little longer simply because of several factors, factor number one so convenient to travel to either Fuquay Varina or to Apex as well as to Cary and Raleigh and Durham as well. But as far as to rent here let's start with the staff of employees that work and represent this place, all who work here are awesome employees starting with Sheena the Manager then Leslie, Ewona and Ana all lovely ladies for sure but would wish that bell partners recognize each of these employees as well as there Maintenance crew starting with David, and George in regards to their work ethics which are up to par in my book and their professionalism and courtesy towards all who live here and to those inquiring on renting here . If any of these employees are up for a review or promotion and or a raise in pay all I can say is very well deserved and should be recognized by their higher ups in letting them all know they are doing a hell of a good job for sure. And as far as living here it has been awesome by far love the amenities they offer and for the most part the neighbors are also very pleasant, it's very tranquil here and very minimal disturbances, and a safe place to live.

Hands down this is the worst apartment with the worst management I've ever experienced. to start it…read moreoff calling this place "luxury" is laughable, cheap materials and even cheaper construction leave a lot to be desired. Our AC has gone out 8 separate times since we moved in. The outdoor grill area is infested with cockroaches which have also invaded our building. They rarely complete a job the first time and leave you hanging for days if not weeks waiting for them to finish. The carpet in our unit is original to the building and is literally unraveling, when we vacuum its 10% dirt and 90% carpet fiber in the bag, its literally unraveling at the seams, but the arrogant punk they have as a manager claims it couldn't possibly be the low grade 10 year old carpet that's the issue. Which brings me to the utter incompetence of the staff. We were not ready to move due to the early COVID pandemic so we looked at doing a short extension to wait it out. Well after clearly(and in writing) stating that we wanted to only do 6 months they sent us a 12 month lease and it took threatening to turn them over to the AG's office to make it right. On top of that they wanted me to sign an NDA and ban me from writing a review, which I refused to do. So they countered with an NDA only covering the rent concession they offered to keep us from going to the AG but guess what, they never sent me the NDA so I didn't sign one. The current property manager is as arrogant as he is incompetent and I think that's evident by the fact that the building I am now in is almost empty. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Let's see if the VP chews him out this time and he'll call us to get the review taken down again. It's going to take a whole lot more than fixing their screw-ups for that to happen.

The apartments are your median level apartments. Nothing special, not luxury, but they are... average, and the pricing reflects that. The tour guide was knowledgeable about the company, but she was filling in from out of state, so she wasn't 100% up to date on all of the ins and outs of that specific apartment complex, but was more than knowledgeable about the company themselves. Their package system is not very good. Our tour was delayed by about 30 minutes because our tour guide was the only one there, and she couldn't lock the door, because a delivery driver was dropping off packages.

I urge anyone looking to…read morelease from Hawthorne Apartments and Trellis Pointe to at least think twice before signing anything. The manager is basically non existent corporate shill who gives apologies written by ChatGPT, the front desk and maintenance is all around useless. Even going to them with simple problems gets nothing done and gaslight you into thinking you're the problem. I'm currently in a wall of sound with noise machines running 24/7 due to an annoying neighbor that is either fighting all the time or running their bathroom fan non stop to no end. Ear Plugs and Noise Machine for the amount of money they want you to pay for a building almost thirty years old is beyond ridiculous. I would like else where or maybe your have better luck then me I really wish you will just think about it before you sign.

I was a former resident having left due to the excessive noise from a neighbor during "quiet…read morehours". Over the past few months and my final weeks, there has been a persistent problem with noise coming from the neighboring apartment. Despite my attempts to address this directly with the neighbors and the management, the situation did not improved. The noise, particularly during late hours, was disruptive and affects my ability to sleep and maintain and enjoy whatever peace there was in my home. What was the point in signing a lease that told you of "quiet hours" that remind all tenants of the importance of adhering to quiet hours and maintaining a respectful living environment, when no one followed it then when you complain your the problem and the staff and management do little to nothing to address the situation and make you feel as though they couldn't care less as long as you pay your rent and keep your mouth shut. Once you become a "problem" Maintenance fixes nothing! They never answer the phones or in the office, they ignore your calls if you have to leave a message during business hours this has happened multiple times to me and several people i know that live there still and had once lived there. My experience started off good i will say, living there was very nice at first the buildings was clean and most of the other residents very nice and friendly. However a noticeable decline in the quality of service provided by the building's staff also this issue is not only distressing. The mounting garbage in the breezeway due to a new trash picking service drew a number of roach infestation which poses health risks. I had taken measures to manage the situation at least in my apartment, including maintaining cleanliness and using over-the-counter remedies, but these efforts did not resolved the problem. there was never a professional pest control service to address the infestation and ensure that such issues are thoroughly managed in the future. Requests for maintenance and repair work are often met with delays or incomplete resolutions or they don't show at all. Additionally, the staff's communication and responsiveness to tenant concerns most of whom had been lacking even before i moved in. This has led to an increasing level of frustration and inconvenience. The building's owner has been inattentive to critical issues affecting the tenants. There have been multiple instances where important matters, such as repairs and general upkeep, have been either delayed or ignored. The lack of proactive management and oversight has significantly impacted the quality of living within the building. Even if you urge them to address this negligence by ensuring that the owner takes a more active role in overseeing property management and addressing tenant concerns promptly i doubt anything will happen. All in All I would not recommend living there. Very few amenities. Completely overpriced. Everything is 20 plus years old, despite "newer models" available or not. There are brand new apartments everywhere for way less then these outdated apartments.

They sold while we were in the middle of our lease. The new management team are complete swindlers. Half of our amenities were closed with no real explanation. When you move out the bill is as much as your rent, and we even hired professional cleaners when moving out. If they feel threatened they are down right vicious and rude. They charge so for a pet fee and pet rent to "take care of the grounds" but the place is covered in feces and many of us struggled with our pets not being able to rid of parasites that are spread by feces. If one person in the entire complex breaks a rule at the pool, they will threaten to close it for everyone. Am I An adult renting or living at my parents house ? The previous owners cared so much and lived up the the hype. The new team is just trying to make a buck by selling you a "luxurious living experience" but that's just a gimmick. Amenities are open maybe a third of the year. Beautiful apartments, but be warned you will be paying for all their upgrades when you move out and they will give you excuses and more excuses. They prey on people. Slumlords.
