I was supposed to meet up with someone from this gym on Friday the 24th of may at 3 pm for my intro session. Needless to say no one bothered to show up or call or email me that they were unable to make it. I got done early with an errand I needed to complete so I got there at 2:30pm and the doors were locked, so I call and no answer. I wait 15 minutes and try the door again, it's still locked. I try other doors and they are locked as well. I call again and no answer. I wait until 3 pm, door is still locked so I call again, no answer so I leave a voicemail and send a text no with no response. I wait until 3:20pm thinking maybe someone was running behind, nothing. I leave a message on the webpage on the contact us form same day. Still have not received a single response from anyone. In my opinion, this is very unprofessional business practice. If you value your time, I would recommend staying away from this business, complete waste of time. Thanks for nothing. I would rate zero stars if I could. read more

I have never felt more comfortable at a gym, and I have worked out in a lot of them (college team gym, student athletic centers, franchise gyms, CrossFit box, etc.). 11athletics is by far my favorite! The prices are are super accessible...especially when you consider that the classes are included in your gym membership. The trainers are all very knowledgeable and friendly. If you want the best functional fitness for your money, then step out of the overpriced "box" and step into 11. It's a large facility with great trainers. The best classes are The Staple, rope FX & Body Assault. You get a good mix of weight lifting, cardio, plyometrics and flexibility. You will work hard and feel amazing. No need to feel intimidated, people and trainers are supportive and you have plenty of space to move. Also-why bother with intercity parking of other gyms. This place has a giant lot and is only 8 minutes from the short north. The lot is used for classes on warm days. This is major value for your money! I was one of their first members and I'm sticking around. Honest people that don't hassle you into contracts or other nonsense. If you want results, get your bootie to these classes. I have been a member at 11athletics for over 3 years and visit at least 5 days per week. There is so much space both inside and outside, a huge selection of strength equipment and a wide variety of group fitness class formats that allow you to create new, challenging workouts every day. The team at 11 is awesome, they are always friendly and inviting to everyone that comes in. It is reflected in the members' attitudes, too. The community there is friendly and supportive. There are not many other gyms in the Columbus area that have a set up like 11. I'm thankful for this gym and the team. read more

I absolutely LOVE 11 athletics facility and the trainers are the Best! They push and motivate the whole class (if you take a class). All the trainers are really good and challenge me every time. They are all friendly, patient, and motivating. They are always to show you a movement or work on your form. The facility is great for developing total fitness. No weight-stack machines here but lots of bumper weights, Dumbbells, lots of bars, and kettle bells. Amazing Rack with lots of squat, pull-up, dips, etc positions. The 50 yard indoor turf is my favorite as are the Prowlers. Amazing Spin room with the best sound and video system you have seen. Treadmills up front with an ice view of the lot. I am in Columbus for work on a routine basis and was looking for a gym I could call my home away from home. After looking at a few places, I found 11athletics - and very happy that I did. The facility is fantastic - perfect amount of dumbbells, lots of kettlebells, rowers, barbells and of course the turf area with the weight sleds. The facility doesn't try to be anything over the top or overly trendy - just good equipment that gets the job done. The staff is great as well. I don't interact with them too much, but when I've asked questions, they have always been of great assistance. read more

I was in town visiting but vacation doesn't mean I can take a break from working out. i need my fix. I wanted to find a place that would challenge my fitness abilities with instructors that know what they're doing and care. this was the second training facility I visited on my trip. the first sucked. but here you will find everything you need to train like an athlete. any type of athlete whether it be training for strength, endurance, speed and agility etc. Ben the instructor for the staple class was personable introduced himself asked what our fitness capabilities were, and once class began walked around checking for proper form, encouraging us, demonstrating technique etc. we started with a strength training (deadlifts to pull-ups) then a cardio portion ( 100yd box push to pull ups) and ended with some core work. I train like an athlete back home and I instruct group fitness classes at a functional training facility. if I lived in Columbus Ohio this would be where I would train. plus theres tons of parking and so many fun toys to play with to get you bigger stronger faster leaner whatever your goals may be. thanks for the great workout. next time I'm in town I'll be back. read more

While in town last week I had the opportunity to try out the Staple Class with Ben and to be honest I'm shocked that 11athletics doesn't have more reviews on Yelp. Ben was great, he was very attentive and walked around throughout the class helping everyone with form while also asking us about our individual fitness abilities. I'm a fitness junkie so I love trying out new facilities and classes when I'm out of town. 11athletics reminded me of the training facility I go to locally which was a big plus. The space itself is huge with different sections for each portion of your workout, they also have a spin studio! I'll definitely be back for another class or two when I'm in Ohio again. If you live locally, I highly suggest trying out the free trial class. You won't regret it! read more

Where do I start?! I came to 11 Athletics with a back and shoulder injury. When I started with them, I could barely put on my shoes or pick up a laundry basket without pain. The team at 11 Athletics have been amazing! I have been seeing Stephanie Gudorf for chiropractic work. She has been wonderful (life saver really)! I have also been seeing Jen Pierce for massage. Again, wonderful! Both Stephanie and Jen are located at 11 Athletics. I have been working with Ben one on one for about a month now. He understands my injuries and my goals. He has gotten me back to lifting and working out without any pain! I cannot say enough about the team at 11 Athletics! read more

I have been a member of other gyms as well as tennis clubs, and 11 is as good as it gets. The facility is great, with plenty of everything you need. The staff is friendly, and the trainers know what they are doing. I appreciate that the focus is on functional fitness here, and not just providing acres of cardio equipment. They do have cardio, but more importantly for what I am looking for they have plenty of benches, squat racks, dumbbells, etc. It's rare to need to wait on someone else to finish up to do what you want to do. The gym industry can be cutthroat - I'm sure everyone has read horror stories surrounding billing or bait and switches. This gym isn't like that - they consistently try to deliver as much value to members as they possibly can. The membership includes access to classes, and for that reason alone I think it would still be a good deal at twice the price. Highly recommend. read more
