Clean, good AC, cheerful staff, sports on the two televisions, in between the BDO and the 7-11 on Friendship Highway. Everyone in the place is observing safety measures for COVID-19, so happy to see that. Fifties themed, and I don't really care for retro ambiance in general, in restaurants, but that is my personal preference. It's probably a good choice for them, considering that a lot of their customers will probably be older expatriate men.
They advertise as being from Georgia in the States, but the counter people told me it is Korean-owned. Which makes sense, because it's in Koreatown in Angeles City. Maybe it's a Korean-American owner that lived in Georgia? Or, a Korean that worked for a while in the States? Who knows, really.......
The food is actually quite good, but as in most places in the Philippines, "spicy" is not very spicy at all. This place is no exception to that generalisation. Platters are big, no complaints there.
I come from New Orleans, so I grew up eating very spicy food, and this spice is hotter than most places in the Philippines, but not as hot as I'd like.
