Best action in Houston, maybe Texas. New management has replaced and updated branding, tables, chips, overall staff. Once you play here you might not play anywhere else.

Absolute trash. Shady people. Shitty owners. Charged us for parking then tried to upcharge our friends. Do not waste your time or money.

High stakes games, more than what I'm use to, but great food and service! The place is big and I will be back to win some cash!

The owner Dennis was hard to deal with, being very irritated most of the time. He pieces machines together though, in a market where parts are hard to find. After my last repair round, where he swapped a processer out of one of my machines putting in a less capable one..... I will never use his shop again. Attitude is everything. When I questioned him about the repairs he got in my face and became very aggressive, then calming down quickly. Be careful if you go there. Very little machines, but a whole lot of attitude..

Never going back. I left. That was yesterday. Not sure why, or if I did something wrong... don't really want to know. .... no worries, there are other sources for machines and parts in the area. I'm not here to pick fights, I'm 66, too old for that crap. Just be careful if your looking for a machine and the places you shop.... some places for slots vary, maybe try online through private sales, might be better off in the long run.... if you choose to shop at slot stores on the Houston area, try Jeff at Haywire slots or East Coast slots....Glenn Brock

We had a last minute stay at Hotel Zaza after some issues at originally planned accommodations…read more Luckily, we were able to find a room a few hours before arrival after a long and exhausting day. All of the staff we encountered at Hotel Zaza were very friendly and welcoming during our two night stay. We especially appreciated the free coffee and tea service offered on each floor of the hotel every morning. This was a nice touch to start the day off strong. The room itself was on the small side and felt like the design and decor might have been little cooler / edgier a decade or so ago. Something about the young girl half nude photography didn't do it for me... We didn't get to experience this firsthand but they offer an on site spa, outdoor pool, and restaurant and bar. The restaurant prices looked a little $$ so we held off. Overall, a positive experience.

Everything worked and they're back to daily maid service. They have a fine breakfast buffet in the lobby, with eggs and omelets made to order. The only drawback is parking - the usual self-park garage was closed during some nearby construction, meaning that if you're staying here this summer or fall, you'll have to choose between valet parking ($80/night) or else a pretty hefty hike to garages that allow overnight and in/out parking. Note: Indoor pool only. Not nearly as cool as the rooftop pool and lazy river at the other Convention Center hotel.

The bar staff was friendly and engaging and the food provided was great. The staff was also amazing at keeping the venue clean and clutter free with a bunch of attendees leaving plates and glassware everywhere. The lobby area was spacious and inviting and it had a Starbucks in the lobby. There was also a skyway to the convention center on both the 2nd and 3rd floor. It super close and hopefully your convention is on the same side as this Hilton, otherwise, you have a long walk to the other side.
