No starch at all, zero, intact they barely looked ironed. This was the primary reason for me taking the shirts to the dry cleaner instead of just ironing the shirts myself. Simple task and they screwed up the one thing that I asked of them. Every time I go in there, they're eating something and have grease on their fingers, and at least one of them smokes heavily.

My experience at Royal Fine Cleaners on University Blvd today was infuriating. I had dropped off a…read morefull load of clothes to be cleaned on Thursday. After the clerk put down her phone (still with active FaceTime conversation going) she told me that only four garments had been cleaned because the other items in my bag had some pet hair on them. Ironically, three of the four items cleaned were a shirt and two scarves I wore in my last horse show. They passed muster. I guess horse hair doesn't count??? I asked when or where I would have become aware of this policy regarding not cleaning clothes that aren't clean enough upon arrival (have some pet hair). They said that for a while, they had signs up in their stores but people were getting upset (ya think?) so they took them down. One reason I was given for the policy change is that some people are allergic to pets. Well, how about people allergic to cigarette smoke? I could go on, but I think I've made my point. I don't have an issue with a business forming a policy that they feel makes sense for them. But how about informing your customers and helping them to understand the reason for the change? Maybe we could have worked together so that they retained my business and I could appreciate the impact I had on them. In the end, they need business and I need clean clothes! But instead, the choice was made to deny service and put the blame on me, the customer, unaware of the policy.

The place was VERRY crowded. Clientele was nice. I come with my daughter who has many health issues and we often sit while laundry is washing. He had been taking out the trash, keeping the back door open while he emptied all of the barrels..letting the freezing cold air in. Back to the chairs: He told me he was going to speak to management..I told him I would too as he yelled. He finally went away to tell the lady behind the counter, whom I've never seen before( the 2 NICE normal ladies were not there). She came over and said we would need to move the chairs back.. thru the crowd..I told her if she wanted them back, they could move them and I would never be back..she sarcastically said "ok".. So I'm guessing because you have a good business, although I have been there when the place was deserted, you won't need mine anymore. The man was just TOOO LOUDLY BELLIGERENT..for a petty issue.
