The next morning we were at Colorado Car Care at 9am and David Medrano was amazing. We had a puncture and inner wall damage. Unrepairable. David called all over within 50 miles. No one had our tire size. We had to be in Greeley by 4pm the next day. David called all over and had the tires delivered from Denver by 9am the next morning. We were on the road by 11am. We can not thank David Medrano enough for his excellent customer service. He saved the purpose of our trip. For that matter everyone in the shop was super friendly and helpful. They said I heated up the discs going down a hill and now the discs are warped and needed replacement and It's all my fault?? Hmm, hadn't been driving on steep hills. I took it to another shop and they said yes, the discs are warped but it was from the inferior replacement parts Bob's Conoco installed on my Tundra. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Purchased a used '13 Jeep GC @…read morea dealer in Denver last autumn and last friday I brought it to our local dealer to remove the snowtires, check the factory recalls and to have an oil-filter change (first one while in our possession of the vehicle). They were unable to remove oil pan drain plug and said the bolt head became "rounded" with repeated attempts and that the oil pan would need to be replaced at a subsequent visit & at a cost of $1400 (initially I was told over the phone 1400 and later was told between 1100-1400). I was told the ONLY alternative was to remove the oil pan but that I could contact the dealership conglomerate that last changed the oil in Boulder and/or that my auto insurance company might reimburse us for the necessary repair. I asked if the oil pan drain plug could be removed by some method or drilled out....No. When I picked up the vehicle, I reviewed the printed invoice (#1 - 01F: CHANGE OIL AND FILTER ON A GAS ENGINE Work performed by _____ COULDN'T PERFORM LOF. DRAIN PLUG WOLD NOT COME OUT. RECOMMENDED OIL PAN REPLACEMENT. CUSTOMER DECLINED and scheduled the earliest available return appt for the oil pan in two weeks. At home, I crawled under the vehicle to view the rounded drain plug bolt head and found the bolts on the skid plate didn't appear to have been touched (to remove the skid plate for better tool access like with a pipe wrench) and GOOGLE searched (rounded oil pan drain plug head). Monday, drove to Doc's Auto Clinic to discuss the use of pipe wrench after removal of the skid plate vs. an alternative method like an Irwin bolt grip socket and to schedule the next available appt. Doc reassured me that he couldn't recall having to replace an oil pan because of stuck-rounded oil pan drain plug. Yesterday (thursday) @ Doc's, the "rounded" drain plug did require two bolt grip sockets (first one cracked) for removal but didn't require removal of the skid plate. In their opinion a flush of the crankcase was not required, based on inspection of the drained oil (coincided with previous documentation of the oil changes/mileage on the Carfax when we purchased the car). They placed/gently torqued in a new magnetic drain plug (I had prepurchased @ auto parts store), replaced the filter and filled the crankcase with synthetic blend (my request) all for $60. Happily (relieved), my credit card payment and thank yous were accompanied by a couple of cold, six packs of assorted microbrews from Arctic Liquors and my assurance that both of our vehicles would now be serviced by Doc and his adept team. The four indiividuals that I had any contact with (@ Doc's) could not have been more professional, amiable, competent and confidence inspiring. Disclaimer-My only previous contact with any of the individuals at Doc's was with Doc during a group mtb trip to the Hillyard-Fowler-10th Mtn Div hut last summer. (On the drive home I did stop by the dealership to cancel the oil pan replacement appt, speak with the service manager about the experience-outcome and that we would no longer be bringing our vehicles to their service dept-previously 10 yr relationship with 4 vehicles).

When I took it to them, after my ca was jump-started, Doran ran some tests and said it was unlikely that I did in fact need a battery, however if I did, I should go back to the manufacturer as the battery is under warranty and I shouldn't pay a penny for a new battery. They could have easily said "yes you do... we'll sell it to you" and I would have been none the wiser. From my experience, they go above and beyond and genuinely care.

This place quite literally saved my life. I had Midas change the spark plugs in my old Subaru and I…read morethought I was safe to drive to steamboat from Colorado Springs. My car started vigorously shaking and the check engine light was flashing when I got into town. I found out it was only firing on three cylinders when the spark plugs weren't connected all the way. I went to Yampa valley, but they were too full to get me in. I met a nice man named Friday there and sent me to his shop Four Star. He was able to get me in right away, diagnose the problem and fix it within minutes. He also recommended I go to Midas to get reimbursed for the work to fix their problem and it worked. The staff here is honest and you can tell that they really know what they're doing. I felt taken care of and left with peace of mind. More importantly, I was able to get home safely and I wouldn't have been able to do that if it weren't for the amazing customer service and expertise here. This is an amazing auto shop and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Arrived and planned on a long wait but they got to it with in few minutes. Mechanic drove the car which I could hear the rattling. Short after came out and handed me 2 pea size rocks, at least its not bearings, and $47 was worth the peace of mind. Highly recommend them, short time I was there most of their customers are local. From the moment the phone was answered I was treated like family. The woman who made the appointment was the kindest person- I felt like I had called my aunt! Then I was an hour late for my appointment. I had written the time down wrong- totally my fault. They accommodated me instantly anyway and had no issue or attitude with me! I told her what I needed to help me make a decision on driving 3 hours to see the vehicle. She had her mechanics put the vehicle up on the lift and took all the pictures I asked for. Within 10 minutes I knew it would be worth the drive. I booked an appointment with Alexa for the following Monday. She communicated with me the entire time letting me know everything was ready for my arrival. When I arrived, she had the truck out front and ready for a test drive, then helped me go through the carfax and check everything out. When I got out I checked tires and front right was cupping and very worn due to us not rotating tires consistently. My bad...My whole family grandkids visiting us and I was feeling sick about taking the chance with bad tires up front. I went to his shop to get his expert opinion and he said he was slammed with jobs. I think he saw how desperate I was he said he'd slip me in and rotated and balanced my wheels in 20 minutes! Said tires were in need of replacing soon but would suffice till after holidays! He saved the day and I'll be able to sleep knowing we are safer. Jeep ran smooth and true.
