The movers showed up on time, packed everything carefully and quickly, and arrived at my new home on time. I opted to unpack everything myself but they put every box in its proper place. I've unpacked everything and everything is in the condition I packed it in; not a single chip or crack in anything. I was a little worried about hiring movers by the hour (especially when everyone else gave me a flat rate), but they did a great job and the final cost was under the estimated amount; probably because the movers were so speedy and professional.

Their website has a page titled "Harrisonburg, VA Moving Companies" and refers to their "locally-operated team." What I didn't know when I booked was that the crew was actually coming from Charlottesville. I only hired them to unload the large items from MY U-Haul. I was transporting everything myself. I was told there was a travel fee, but I specifically told them on the phone that I didn't need that because I was moving my belongings myself. No one corrected me or explained that I would still be charged the fee because they were coming from Charlottesville. Had they explained that, I would not have booked them and would've looked for an actual local moving company. When I called afterward to address the charge, the owner, Cole, was condescending, argumentative, and mostly unhelpful. Instead of trying to understand why there had been a clear misunderstanding, the conversation felt more like an argument than an attempt to resolve the issue. The guys who actually came out and did the work were great. My problem is with the lack of transparency, communication, and how the situation was handled afterward. If you're in Harrisonburg, please ask where your crew is actually coming from, what EVERY fee covers, and get it in writing before you book. I wish I had.
