The onsite crew arrived as expected and checked with us when they first arrived, introduced themselves by name, and looked over the job with us before they started. We appreciated them doing this which was good for us and for them, so both could agree beforehand on the expectations for the job, so each had no surprises. While they worked on the job we had occasion to ask about certain things or request minor things, which they were very receptive to talking about and did their best to handle. Because they had given their names, it was easier to approach them when it was necessary, and they were receptive to our inquiries in a positive way. This is very important in my mind. I know there is a fine balance, but If crews react badly or are difficult to approach, this can lead to a less than desirable relationship and impact the job and customer satisfaction, But this didn't happen with Bartlett. They were all good to work with, did a great job, and we were really satisfied with choosing them for this work.

I am sad to have to write this review…read more Tree Brothers was supposed to drop off a load of wood chips to our residence. Instead, they dropped a load comprised mostly of logs and branches. When I called them, they were very nice and said that someone would come by the next day to pick the logs up. No one came. That was on May 11th. Since then, I have called and texted dozens of times. When I have been able to get a hold of them, they have promised me that someone would be over shortly to pick up the logs. I would wait for them in vain. No one has ever shown up, and they now appear to be ghosting me. I have no idea how to get rid of the logs. Someone has suggested that I call the police. I hate that a simple chip delivery has turned into this. To be fair, they may have every intention of picking the logs up. If they do so, I will update my review. For the moment, though, I am starting to lose hope.

I hired Grizzly Tree Experts in 2021 for some pruning of several massive trees that were putting a…read morefence and a neighbour's garage at risk. The work was carried out according to schedule and the staff on site were polite and communicated well about the best approach and also the esthetic options for pruning. I knew I had to remove a lot of limbs for safety reasons yet the trees looked healthy after their pruning, and I didn't feel any garden privacy was compromised. The estimate was reasonable for the complex and dangerous work near hydro lines and excessive heights. All debris was managed and removed. An excellent job. This week I asked Grizzly Tree Experts for another estimate to remove a large limb that had snapped in a recent storm. It was hanging over a power line and Hydro had not responded to my call for assistance made 4 weeks earlier. Dan came out within a couple of days and did a careful evaluation. He was not able to accept the work because of the proximity to the primary hydro line and provided me with a report via email with photographs of the situation. I was able to share this professional's report with Hydro and Hydro came the same day to deal with the emergency situation. I was quite particular about how I wanted the trees trimmed, so probably more difficult to please than most clients.
