The fact that no alternative could be offered added insult to injury, but I was even more shocked to discover that they couldn't commit to sending anyone at all to any of the work we'd scheduled for the next two weeks. I was told on the phone that you have "staffing problems" which begs the question why they are taking bookings at all.
