I have frequented the Waterloo truck on a few occasions but it's quite a drive from me so to my excitement they've opened a brick and mortar right down the street from me! The loads of outdoor seating, including children's picnic tables and bench swings. As well as seating inside both up and downstairs. There is a cute and quaint kids play area upstairs filled with wooden cafe toys, a few books, all in a nice little nook. They also have a nice blockade stopping children from going down the stairs. There are two restrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs- children's changing table is in the upstairs restroom. I ordered an iced vanilla latte which was delicious! There weren't any pastries when we arrived but they seemed to be fully stocked when we were on our way out. They have a wide variety of coffees, including a seasonal menu, matchas, and other beverages to choose from. A small selection of snacks and juices for children to choose from was a nice addition to the coffee shop that the truck did not have. This will easily become a frequent stop of ours especially before heading to the library right around the corner. read more
