My sister and I took a drive out to Centerville to check out the new location for the Trim Healthy Mama Cafe. If you are a follower of the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle you will have heard of this great little spot where you can grab a healthy quick lunch or a meal to go, and stock up on your baking mixes and beauty products, too. This cafe is out in a somewhat remote area of Centerville. We ordered from their deli menu and decided on a smoked Turkey and Gouda sandwich and some trim train taco soup for lunch. The sandwich was grilled and quite filling, really yummy. The trim train soup was a good accompaniment. All of the employees we spoke to were friendly and helpful, too. We decided to stock up on a few pantry and beauty items while we were there. I was excited to see the No Carb Bread mix in stock because it is always out of stock when I order online. There was also a variety of protein powders, beauty balms, soap, makeup, cookbooks, and teas there for sale. Before we left we had to get some dessert to go, so we each got a piece of Esther's Cake of Wonders to enjoy later (and it was delicious!). If you follow THM you will definitely enjoy making a trip out to the cafe. read more
