Was in the area and had this placed bookmarked for a while so my family of 4 and I decided to stop by for dinner. Arrived around 4:30pm, it's funny because as I was driving up I realized we've been here before about a year ago this restaurant used to be Thai Gem and is now replaced by another Thai restaurant.
As we entered we were greeted by a kind gentleman who was putting up Christmas decor. So a year ago this placed needed major interior upgrades. It was so nice to see that they definitely did just that! The floors new, the walls painted loved to see how clean the interior was compared to before.
My husband and I brought our 2 littles. The gentleman man offered us a high chair I've never seen before it's cushioned and attached to their chair. Menu and complimentary wonton chips with sweet chili sauce was provided, fresh and delicious.
Our order: All mild to no spice since we had our kids and we wanted them to try. Papaya Lao style, chicken pad thai, chicken fried rice and chicken panang curry. Food started to arrive 15-20 mins after we order. Good portions and oh my, everything was delicious!! The lao papaya salad was yum so I was drinking the sauce. The pad Thai, chicken fried rice and the panang curry was so flavorful. The panang curry was rich with coconut flavor and the spice level they couldn't adjust but it wasn't spicy, it was a mild kick. Wish there were more veggies looked like it only came with peas and chicken but that was okay as long as the flavors were there. The fried rice was one of the best we've ever had!
This place is solid and a hidden gem! We will definitely be revisiting soon!!! Service was great and the food amazing. It's a small restaurant and they do get pretty busy, luckily we arrive just before dinner rush. I would definitely recommend! read more
