Our 2nd time here! Last time we came during the grand opening, since then I think they've refined their menu. Love how vegetarian friendly it is. We were greeted upon arrival and service was provided quickly. The restaurant is Hmong-owned and serves your favorite Thai & Lao food, along with Thai boat and pho.
Food: Lao style papaya salad, mild spice. I know some people's version of spice varies but the mild was perfect for us. It had peanuts too, a good amount too. my husband & I love extra peanuts in our papaya salad. So that was a bonus. The taste was well balanced, not too sweet, sour or bitter. The texture is crunchy. Love how their have green beans and eggplants added in as well. Portion size is good. 4.5/5 for me bc maybe it should come in a plate instead of a bowl. It makes the top part kind dry and have to constantly mix it.
Chowmein, no meat or veggies for the kids. It was really good! I'm not a chowmein person at all but I ended up liking it too. It has a sweet taste to it. My kids approved!
Chicken egg rolls: it came with 4. My husband said it had a bit too much chicken and was plain.
Red curry, veggie, no meat: REALLY GOOD! I chose the veggie option over the tofu option for vegetarian. A lot of my favorite veggies in the dish. Best red curry I had so far. My new go-to now.
Pork belly (full order): my husband said it was good and crispy. He's picky with his meat/food and he liked it.
Sticky rice: husband got 2 orders of sticky rice to eat with his meat and papaya salad.
Drinks: Thai tea: taste good but a bit sweet. I added a bit of my iced water to it.
Service: Waiter was friendly and fulfilled our requests. Really appreciate it!
Price: Everything total 82.28 before tips. It's not bad considering how large the portions of the food were. read more
