We went at about 6pm on a Sunday evening and were lucky to get a table upstairs. We were greeted by Tom who took our order right away for 2 Guinness and 4 oysters which arrived quickly. The place was very busy with a lot of folks chatting and laughing. Our main orders of fish stew (cow fish, mussels and a whole prawn) with a large piece of toast slathered with spicy mayo and my wife ordered linguine vongole. Both our orders arrived within 10-15 minutes and were very well played. They both looked appetizing and were both demolished despite us not being particularly hungry when we arrived. We also shared a lightly dressed fig & soft greens salad. The dressing was on the sweet side but went very well with our mains. I STRONGLY suggest a visit...a reservation may lessen your need for the luck we had that evening. read more
