My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience at Super Yummy in Irvine! The grilled fish hot pot was absolutely superb--very tender and exquisitely flavorful. It reminded me of baked fish in a perfectly seasoned spicy sauce. We added lots of extras like vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and other delicious add-ons, which made it even better. My personal favorite was the wide glass noodles (drunken noodles) -- they soaked up the flavor so well. We also ordered the soup dumplings, and I loved them. The flavor was rich and authentic, definitely some of the best I've had The entire experience was much better than I anticipated. The restaurant is small and cozy, and it came highly recommended by locals, who said this is the place for fish hot pot and authentic soup dumplings -- and they were absolutely right.
