I came here with my brother on a whim. Found it online, and decided to try something new instead of our usual Bensalem haunts. I was a bit skeptical about the location, while very close and just across the bridge into Jersey, the area looked deserted and as if there weren't many other businesses nearby. As soon as we got out of the car, I could feel my brother looking at me like "this was YOUR idea! We should've gone to Chipotle!" The few regulars at the bar stared at us when we came through the door. Guess we must've really looked out of place! The dining room was dark. A really lovely waitress attended to us and turned the lights on. We had the dining room to ourselves, although it was a bit chilly. While the food is pricey, it tastes delicious and I believe it's worth it. Some of the best seafood I've had in my life, and a great introduction to Portuguese cooking. I'm not sure if I'd sit in and eat again, maybe it gets livelier in the evenings. Looks like there is a pool table and a dancing area, so perhaps we were a bit early. However, I'd definitely place a carry out order since the food was that good and the portions were large. By the end of dinner my brother also admitted that the food was tasty and not all my ideas about venturing to the unknown for some eats are terrible. read more
