There is not much to choose from in the Williston Basin International Airport (XWA) in terms of food, coffee, and bars, but the Robert Kitchen & Bar is an option in the main (only) terminal
The storefront is relatively inviting with snacks, novelty gifts, and souvenirs. I spent time pursuing their goods before my flights many time, and I even ended up buying a shirt, magnet, and ornament to remember my travels
The checkout counter is also an order counter where you can order either coffee drinks or food. I don't know if it's always breakfast items or it's just because my flights have been early morning flights, but the food seems to be limited to breakfast dishes. You can order hot food or Pasteur/muffin/fruit type dishes. When I arrived the cold food in the display was still wrapped in Saran Wrap
The person working the register appeared to be new. I think we overheard that this person is typically a cook in the back, but this individual was having a lot of issues with the orders and inputting them in
I saw they had a handful of coffee syrups, but they weren't turned so I could read them. I asked if they had coconut flavoring, but they said no. I asked for a double shot of espresso in my drink, and the em individual didn't know how to input it. The barista fielding this person's questions said they would just give me the extra shot for free, which was a nice touch
You can order hot vs cold (for coffee). Their menu offers plenty classic coffee drinks to choose from.
The service was quick in terms of receiving my order
The coffee itself was fine. Nothing to write home about. I couldn't taste the additional espresso shot, and it tasted slightly watered down
Some tips:
Consider ordering coffee in Williston prior to your flight and prior to going through security. There is also a bar in the terminal. I don't know if they make coffee or serve food, but apparently they open at 9:30am
