If I could give this company zero stars, I would due to their total unprofessionalism and, what I believe, is an illegal processing of my deposit.
I booked a move with the No Problem Express Movers and due to circumstances out of my control, I had to cancel my move. When I initially booked my move, I put a deposit down - normal process - and the person that I spoke to communicated to me verbally that I could cancel up to 72 hours before my scheduled date with no penalty. Unfortunately, I then had to cancel my move and immediately informed them (120 hours ahead of the booked date). They informed me that the deposit would not be refunded. You can imagine how disappointed I was to hear this since this was never communicated to me. I spoke to the same person that took my deposit and expressed my frustration. Instead of explaining the situation and trying to work with me, as a customer, to come up with a solution, she became very aggressive and explicitly called me a liar. This, I believe, was extremely unprofessional and not to mention profoundly rude. To be sure, I checked all correspondence with them as well as their website to see if there was anything that indicated that the deposit would not be refunded. There was absolutely nothing and so effectively, what they've done by keeping my deposit is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL.
I've attached two screenshots of their policy page directly from their website and I confirm that on both their policy page and my confirmation email, they do not have any information about deposits not being refunded. Again, this was not communicated to me during the booking which really should be standard protocol.
For anyone who does business with this company, do your due diligence. I don't know what company would take a customer's deposit and push their business away rather than working with them to solve the issue. read more
