Project; replace a 27+ year old block wall  (82') leaning due tree roots and bad construction.  So this was 2 projects; demolition /hauling (including old footings), and building new footings and wall.  Estimated time 2 days demo, and 3 days construction (10% down balance at the end) .  Everything went as scheduled.  Why am I so pleased? -          Not dealing with contractors that don't seem to have a deep bench (ie. I need x $$ to buy materials; going to home deport to rent this or that). - Owning their equipment for the demolition and construction - Activities staged timely (demo and building) - Meticulous, checking every single brick for proper leveling Will post some pics of the demo and build.  I plan to call Armando for future projects in my backyard.  (almost forgot, we did get other quotes and his was competitive).   Final product; the new wall is not going anywhere, I'll be long gone, but this block wall will remain standing straight. read more
