The Market Plaza Food Court lives in a delicate balance. It's "in" but not yuppified. The food stalls are in symbiotic relationship with the drink stalls. I'd like to take a photo and keep it as it is now, forever.
It's pandemonium when it's busy, which it usually is. I'd say there's seating for up to 500 people, eating elbow-to-elbow in a just-big-enough hall. When a seat becomes available, you've just got to hop in and hope no one spills any hot liquids on you as they try squish behind you while you're eating.
An authentic feel, complete with not so nice washrooms, high noise levels and food in a wide variety of vessels. Overall a fun and cheap place to eat. Friday dinner during late night shopping has become a tradition in this household.
