My doctor sent in my lab orders twice. The orders were clear, yet they failed to test my thyroid and vitamin D levels, as prescribed. The man who took my sample gave me the most brutal bruise and caused swelling in my arm the size of a golf ball. I've had blood drawn regularly for 30 years and never experienced anything like this before. I can't go back to a lab to have my blood drawn again for my thyroid and vitamin D levels until my arm heals up. I feel like my vein was damaged and arm bruised up all for nothing! They probably even billed my insurance for the tests they forgot to do, but I have no way of checking. This is utterly ridiculous. read more
