Kashgar is just a delight to wander through.
They have... *everything*. They have a sturdy wooden bed with some very eastern-looking bedspreads and pillow covers, they have bronze statues of Indian goddesses, they have various antiques from who-even-knows-where!
Of course, there are practical benefits too. I saw a rack of kaftans, and who doesn't want a good kaftan? There were even fez's! Fez's! I've never even seen a fez in real life!
They have some of the most magnificent jewelry, as well as the cutest dreamcatchers I've come across in a long while.
The old gentleman at the counter is unobtrusive, so keep an eye out, or he'll sneak up on ya. read more
