This restaurant was recommended by our hotel during our stay in Helsinki.
It is in the Market Square area near the summer stage which had a performance starting at 5pm on the day we dined on Jun 26.
The restaurant had a very old history dated back to 1840s.
It is a big establishment with a cafeteria section on the left, bar area in the middle, restaurant area on the right and also an outdoor drink area at the front directly facing the summer stage.
The "Roast reindeer and slow cooked reindeer shank (49 euro)" dish was great.
The "Fried White fish and fish roe sauce (41 euro)" was also great.
The service was friendly and good. Judging by the crowd, the restaurant must be popular among the locals. read more
