Expensive for what it is, but not bad. Not great either though. One burger, one kid's milkshake, one regular milkshake and 4 jalapeño poppers came out to over $20.
It's a locally-owned joint so I'd still go here if I was in Calmar instead of a fast food chain. The burgers are akin to any Burger Baron or TBH your high school cafeteria. The bun was crumbly mush. The burger is thin but passable. On the Hawaiian burger, the onions mostly drowned out the very pallid flavour of the pineapple. The milkshakes are lightly flavoured, which I found disappointing because I was so hyped to get a licorice shake. Oh well. The pina colada flavour was better.
I'd stop here again but I wouldn't go out of my way to hit Calmar just to go here. As a walk-in customer, I have to say the place was spotless clean and the service was very good. They're taking the COVID guidelines very seriously, which is greatly appreciated. read more
