Sometimes even if you think you can do something yourself it is better to hire a professional. Trimming or removal of a very large, 75 year old tree is one of things. I solicited bids from at least five arborists, and only two of them even bothered to get back to me. I had originally planned to have this tree removed but the owner of Blue Sky Trees inspected the tree and informed me that it only needed a good pruning, since it was overgrown and there was extensive storm damage from an ice storm a few years ago. It was both affordable and excellent quality work. The job was outstanding and I am extremely happy with the look, it is nice to find someone who is passionate about their work, knowledgeable, safety conscious, and respectful.
