We were blown away by the transcendent food and top notch hospitality at Basta. We were visiting from out of town, and sat at the bar. Every staff member working at the bar took the time to greet us and chat with us, even though they were all super busy. The chef manning the wood fire grill took the time to explain their home-milled grain and how the pizzas are made. The head chef also gifted us samples of the mokum carrots and potato donuts and explained the products behind them. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness and philosophy they put into the products. Overall the entire dining experience was one of the best of our lives, thanks to the amazing Basta staff. It's a bummer we live so far away, otherwise we would be back at Basta as regulars. read more
